Mayor James Sottile said this week that the city is approaching the finish line on a five-year effort to replace or reinforce the city’s most decrepit sewer mains. Currently, contractors are replacing major trunk lines around Clinton and Greenkill Avenues, Washington Avenue and Lucas Avenue.
